Dear Elizabeth Jote:
This is a query. I am seeking an agent to represent my work. I have a website: xxx.com. If anything interests you, please let me know and I will send you a copy.
Many thanks for your time.
If your reader has to click through to see your work , then chances are they wont.Take the time for your craft and properly present your work. You are not a rummage sale.

Nit wits abound! Keep the queries coming! Great stuff here.

I’ll do a post about your blog as soon as blogger stops having glitches.

Love the blog. I followed a link from Josephine Damien’s blog to get here.

What I find completely flummoxing is that anyone would think that was a good idea.

Actually, I have seen where an agent solicit queries this way, i.e. telling you to post pages on your blog and to send her the link. Maybe this author thinks this is the way ALL agents do business.

LOL! It’s so short. How can someone click to see what they don’t have any information on? Can he or she at least give a short synopsis of his or her work?

    Goodness.
